RIVERSHED is a unique event space under the Story Bridge in Brisbane. As a heritage listed wharf the design pays homage to it’s history as shipping warehouse. The original timber was repurposed throughout the building such as the bar, ceiling and flooring. Whilst retianing the buildings history new materials such as concrete tops, tiles were introduced to blend the old world and the new. A sense of nostaglia is captured within imagery and artwork. A truly unique space on the riverfront.
